About Us.

Ease into Aging (EIA) was created from a need that our founder, Susan Chaityn Lebovits, experienced while caring for her mother. It is the result of a decade of research.

Susan was looking for resources and products to help her mom maintain more independence and age in place. She set out to find dependable support organizations, items that truly worked, and trusted vendors who had successful track records delivering goods.

Susan spends much of her workweek speaking with corporate human resource departments, executing elder support workshops, and seeing private clients to help them best care for their aging parents.

Before launching Ease into Aging, Susan built and ran Boston Cancer Support (BCS), which provided free resources and patient transportation across the state of Massachusetts. After serving as the executive director for eight years, BCS was acquired by The Joe Andruzzi Foundation, where the programs have been expanded throughout all six states in New England.

Prior to BCS, Susan was a Communications Specialist and science writer at Brandeis University, served as a writer for Boston University’s Office of Sustainability, and wrote for The Boston Globe. Click below to learn more about Susan through Linkedin.

It can be hard when a loved one begins to age, but growing old is a gift that not all get to experience. We can help ensure that this time is filled with the joy and curiosity that comes with each stage of life. As my 87 year-old neighbor says, ‘Every day’s a school day.”’ — Susan Chaityn Lebovits, Founder, Ease into Aging
