Take Back Your Life
Caring for an aging parent who caused emotional harm can activate long-standing patterns of stress, emotional shutdown, resentment, and overwhelm. This workshop is designed for adult children navigating complex family histories while managing present-day caregiving responsibilities. Participants will examine the internal and relational barriers and learn strategies to protect their well-being while fulfilling necessary care roles.
- Are you ready to let go of guilt and shame?
- Do you feel anger and resentment and want to learn how to manage these feelings?
- Do you want to learn proven methods for setting boundaries?
- Would you like to know about the many resources available to support your aging parent?
- Do you want to know that you’re not alone, and meet a small cohort with shared experiences?
